We take stump grinding seriously and we have the equipment to taclke any stumps you may have. As the owner, I have made stump grinding my one specialty and with over 17 years experience, I can assure you that there is nothing in stump grinding that my crews and I haven't ecnountered. Some stumps are simple and others can be grown around steel posts and concrete. So far, there have been none that we were unable to sucessfully remove.
I started this business in September of 2005 and earned my place in the industry during the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. By grinding thoudands of stumps in those awful conditions, I mastered the art of stump grinding and have earned my place in the industry. In subsequent storm work, I worked hand in hand with my crews to make sure that they have also mastered the art of tackling the toughest jobs and performing excellent work where other companies have walked away. I have great relationships with other professionals in this industry who call on us for their most difficult and demanding jobs.
Whether you are a homeowner with a simpe job to be done or a professional contractor who has a giant peice of buried stump blocking a project, you can trust and depend on Hank's Stump Grinding to get the job done safely and efficently.
My service area encompasses roughly a 50 mile radius around New Orleans though we are willing to travel further for larger jobs. This includes the entire Northshore (St. Tammany parish), Slidell, Chalmette, St. Bernard, Kenner, Metairie and all of the other localities. Please call or text 504-858-5045, and we will get to work on meeting your needs.

Hank's Stump Grinding
In the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, as anyone who lived here at the time knows, the area was crawling with unscrupulous out of town contractors who often took excessive money for poor quality work...if they did the work at all. I saw it all over again after Gustav, Ida, and others. I take quality and customer satisfaction very seriously; it's personal to me. As a Christian, I know I will have to face my maker for the things I do in this world. As a businessman, I know reputation will make or break a business. As a consumer of other goods and services, I know what I expect from others. I trust in the words, "Do unto others as you would have others do unto you." We will not ask for a penny until you can tell us that you are happy with our work.
Reputation matters. I believe that quality is the most important aspect of any reputation. It is that reputation that earned me the trust of the Chalmette National Cemetary, a Federally designated National Historical Landmark, to remove stumps from century old trees there that were unfortunatey destroyed by Hurrican Issac. I did not take this job lightly. As a Christian and a proud American, I was careful to respect the burial grounds of American soldiers from the War of 1812, the Civil War, World War I and II, Korea, and Vietnam while restoring beauty to their earthly resting grounds. (See photo below.) I consider it an absolute honor to have been entrusted with such a job. That trust came from haveing a great reputation with others; I will not throw that reputation away on your job.
